Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Hebrews 13:8
He is the same.
He does not change.
The same God who flung the stars into place, has created a story just for you to shine in.
The same God who led His people out of slavery wants to set you free from the sin that easily entangles your life.
The same God who hung on a cross with His arms open wide invites you to fall into His embrace each and every day.
The same God, who powerfully defeated the enemy called death has everything in your life under control.
May your soul find rest in the fact that He does not change. He does not improve on who He is. He does not need to perfect Himself. All that He is, He always has been, and evermore will be – He is for you.

So well said!!! This is something you can cling to you when you feel like the children of Israel, especially when they were scattered during exile. We too can feel scattered and exiled into captivity. But He is always there because He is Jehovah-shammah, and He never changed – He is Yahweh, the Great I Am.
