Happy Wednesday. Today is about keeping it simple. But I have to say, I actually wore an outfit that made my daughter say:
Oh Mommy! You look so pretty! I have never seen you look like this before. – my 6 year old
This is either a good thing or a bad thing. I’m still on the fence. Can you guess which one she made this remark about?

Center: Dress and cardigan (Loft)
For a lovely outdoor wedding of a dear friend’s oldest daughter.
{side note: I used to go to Baby Showers. Now my friends kids are getting married. Oh my!}
Right: Jacket (CAbi), Blue sleeveless top (Target – comes in other colors I’m getting a pink one - only $20), Pants (Loft)
I wore this Sunday for church.

Last Sunday I went to a baby shower for a friend’s daughter who got married two years ago. And I wondered when it switch from my friends having babies to my friends’ adult children having babies. Crazy. I still think I’m 25. Apparently I’m not. But my friends’ kids are.

Knowing my children, it would have been #1. I think you looked very nice in all three. Actually my children don’t say much about what clothes I wear, it’s whether or not I have makeup on. I go through spurts, but they know I usually don’t go anywhere without a little bit…
That is interesting! I wear make-up more for me — it helps wake me up!
If we are supposed to make a guess, I am going to say the “Sunday” outfit but definitely a hard-call – you look very pretty in all of the above.
Funny, you ladies are talking about going to baby showers, etc … I have EIGHT (yes, count them 8) grandkids!!!

Totally “grabbed” the blue top on my way out of Target last week! I love it, too!
I love all of these but I’m loving the last one. That blouse is so pretty. Sometimes my son will say “Oh mama, you’re so pretty, am I your sunshine?” They are SO sweet!!
