So I’m Hosting a Little (in)RL Meet-Up! Wanna Join Me?

I am way excited about hosting a local meet-up with (in)Courage next Spring! How much fun will it be to move beyond the screen into real life? If you are a local I hope you will mark your calendar for April 28, 2012.  Or, take a look at the other meet-ups happening all over the world…maybe one is being planned in your hometown,too!  If not, why don’t you take a leap of faith with me and be a host and invite all your sister-girlfriends over! Really, you will want to be a part of this somehow!

We are working on the details here in O-Town, more to come!  For now, watch this fun video and get psyched:

Counting 1,000 Gifts

The moon has all my gaze, God-glory heavy and mounting. I kneel here, needing to know how a hung rock radiates – ethereal?  This beauty is not natural, not of nature.  This beauty is not merely form and color but Gods’ “shining garment’s” hem”.

What I Wore Wednesday

We started the week in the 50′s and ended up in the 80′s! {Sorry, Amy! } I think we skipped Spring and went straight to Summer. Which, honestly, is fine by me.  I have tried to mix up my wardrobe a bit, and layering helps as it gets warmer throughout the day.  Here are a couple of things I wore this week:

Left: White cardigan (which I’m looking to replace) {Target}, Licorice tube top (yes!) {CAbi}, Khaki long shorts (Can’t decide if I love them or hate them!) {Izod}.

Middle: CAbi Cozy Hoodie (my last day to wear this for a while I’m sure), Yellow sleeveless top {Loft}, Jeans {Gap}.

Right: (My favorite) Black 3/4 cardigan {Walmart}, Grey t-shirt {Kohls}, Pink Cami {Walmart}, Jeans {more Gap}.

*****

Question:   I probably wear t-shirts in some form every day.  My friend Erin rocked this t-shirt in honor of her husband for Valentines Day.  I love it and think she is ADOREable.   {She is @homewiththeboys and I’m @homewiththegirls and that makes me smile!} What do you think?  Can you rock a t-shirt without looking like you’ve given up on fashion all together?

What I Wore Wednesday

Recently I purged my closet. It felt awesome, but made shopping my closet this week a little tougher.  I am making a list of essentials to buy for the spring and summer (which comes quickly down south) and looking for great deals. The one thing I’m learning from all the great WIWW gals, is layer. Layer. Layer. Oh, and I need to get a great pair of boots for next winter!   Anyway, here are a few things I wore this week!

Left: White long shirt {Banana Republic), Brown short sleeve sweater {Gap}, Jeans, {Gap Essentials}.

Right: Shirt {H&M}, Navy Blue Cardigan {Walmart:George Brand}, Jeans {same}.

Left: Long plum ribbed tank {Target}, Black flower t-shirt {Old Navy}, Black cardigan {Walmart:George Brand}, Jeans {same}

Right: (Church) Black button front dress {Target}, Black tube top {Cabi}, Jeans {Gap Long and Lean}.

Top left: Cutest baby in red shirt {Target}, black leggings {Target}.

Top right:  Saturday errands – Long gray v-neck t-shirt {Kohls}, Red Sweater Hoodie {Kohls}.

Bottom left: (love) Red flats {Payless}

Bottom Right: White 3/4 sleeve cardigan {Target}, Red ribbed tank {Bass} and Jeans {Gap Essentials} and cutest baby again.

What colors inspire you?  Which ones do you feel you look best in? Do you have a spring shopping list?

For more WIWW inspirations, visit with Lindsey and her great Wednesday link up.

(I just found out Lindsey is a homeschool mom as well.  I love that she is being purposeful in what she wears every day and encouraging other women to do the same. Thanks Lindsey!)
